Thank You God... I Made It

Hey Reader, Hope all is well.

As I was getting closer to the end of the school year, I told one of my friends that I wanted an end-of-year shirt that would wrap up my school year, and the words that came to mind were,

"Thank God I Made It... By God's Grace and Mercy."

This year brought lessons, growth, challenges, laughter, answered prayers, and opportunities to trust God in new ways. There were moments that stretched me and reminded me daily of my need for God's grace. Through it all, God was faithful, and I am thankful He sent others to help me along the journey.

Now that summer is here, I don't want to rush into the next thing. I want to take time to reflect on where I've been, release what I've been carrying, and receive what God has for this next season.

Before we start planning, preparing, or thinking about the next school year, let's take time to reflect on the following:

What am I thankful for from this school year?
What do I need to release into God's hands?
What is God inviting me to receive this summer?

You don't have to have all the answers today. Just begin by sitting with Him.

Thank you for allowing me to encourage and pray with you throughout this school year. I am grateful for each of you.

Over the next few weeks, I will be sharing more about what it looks like to reflect, release, and receive with God this summer. Stay tuned. 💜

Praying for you, D’Toya Dove

Hey Reader, Hope your week is off to a great start! We had our Pause + Pray Call this week, and if you weren't able to join us live, here's a little of what we walked through together. We started in the Foundation of Prayer, moved into a time of praise, then into this month's word of encouragement: Recharge With Purpose. We talked about releasing and letting go of what's heavy, and giving God all control instead of carrying it ourselves. From there, we prayed through six focuses for this...

Hey Reader, Hope all is going well, and I'm praying you have a great week. I know some of us may be carrying a lot of emotions right now. One question I asked on this most recent episode was: have you ever walked into a new school year already tired, carrying last year's pressure before this year even started? If you find yourself in that moment right now, I want you to know you're not alone. Earlier this week I released a new episode: 5 Shifts to Partner With God and Teach With Intention....

Hey Reader, Hope your week is going great. I wanted to share something with you that my Pastor recently reminded us of, the importance of praise. It got me thinking about this school year, how it will take both prayer and praise to navigate through it. Praising God in advance, before you even see the outcome, is walking by faith and showing that you trust Him with what's ahead. I would love to share more with you... I wrote out this week's full prayer focus in the Teaching With Jesus...
